I would always pick a PTO over a slide in provided it had the secondary HX...which is standard on the pro 1200. Ease of use and van space are why I love the PTO's. I've owned 3 PTOS and 12 plus slide ins and I prefer the PTOs

Just wanted some opinions I'm a brand new startup on my own but I been in the industry 12 years as a water restoration manager for the company carpet tech in west Texas I have lots of leads already for flood work but gotta start somewhere like everyone does

Haven't seen many reviews on the pro 1200 any feedback would be great aside from that I have used a 570 for 200 hrs now excellent heat and auction aside for the overheating issue
Get a 575

It's winter here now so I'm pretty slow. 25 hours lol. I'm doing an oil change today. Awesome heat.
Initial break in oil change .... 50 hrs. Can't be a bad thing at 25 hrs.
Are you doing pump and blower too?
I change oil every 75 hrs on engine and use Mobil1 synthetic 5/30 .
I only change the pump and blower oil in the spring.

Another truck to consider is the Prochem Legend GT. It's a little dependable easy to use beast.

I have a 2013 Sapphire Pro 1200. No issues whatsoever. Built like a tank. Previously owned 2 White Magic Pro 1200's and a Hydramaster CDS but prefer the Pro 1200's.

Heats up to 210-230 with high flow Prochem titanium wand. Excellent vacuum. Simplistic design and easy to maintain plus great if you have employees.
Glad to hear it. I have one going in at the end of the month. It will be my first direct drive. I hope it's all they say it is. :)

Idk much about tms, if you were to compare the specs on the pro1200 and a prochem TM, to which model would it compare to?

Almost this time lol. Pump after 50 hours and blower after 100 hours. After that it's 500 hours for both. Oil is after initial 25 hours every 100 hours unless it's very hot or extra heavy use. I'll change it every 50 cause that's how I roll lol.

Well my Titan had about 800 hrs on it when I got it. I changed all fluids when I took possession but the guy who had it prior was up on maintenance.

That's awesome. I found one with less then 200 hours on it but went with new because I know the maintenance schedule. They hold heat pretty good. Can't wait till its above freezing to see the real potential lol.

Well haven't seen it get hotter than a needle or two past 230*.
IMO that is sweet spot. Did an empty whole house today.
Outside temp was -10 F . Heat off TM was great. Again my cargo area stays really warm with boxheater plus mount heat.
Once the TM is running for 10-15 mins the waterbox supply water gets pretty warm and that's when the heat is there.
When I prespray... I keep the vac underload too!
Do you have fresh water tank? No way with our cold temps could you run a garden hose feed. I'm assuming if you do tap feed to waterbox , that water is coming into waterbox quite cold.
I keep my fresh tank full when not in use. Fresh water tank water gets up to 70 degrees as I heat my cargo area when boxtruck sits.
I have the underbelly 85 gallon poly fresh water tank
