I think Gatorade has too much sugar in it which I'm trying to cut out of my diet as much as possible. Really that's a good idea for anyone. I also don't believe they're as good for your electrolytes as they claim. In fact, I think the only real good they might do is keep you hydrated. They have a very small amount of potassium and just a tad of salt along with lots of sugar. The last time I bought some I got a sugar free Powerade and a reduced sugar Gatorade. I won't be buying anymore of those type drinks with sugar and may just stick to water and some kind of fruit. I'm not a big fan of artificial sweeteners either, but I'm considering giving Stevia a try since it's plant based. I won't drink a soda of any kind anymore. I'm off them completely.
