I would not buy a garage made unit. Not being disrespectful but you get what you pay for. To much heat and suction for an under engineered unit. But if want cheap buy one on eBay new.
Would you consider a Judson TNT a garage built TM ?

Look at all the machines out there so you can buy the machine that suits you... We are about to purchase our second truckmount, along with running 3 portables for condos and high rise... The jag and the nautilus are the best available to you with the rest far far down the rung ( I can hear the guys screaming at me now for saying that)
Remember a 4000.00 machine costs you 333.33 a month for the first year , and only 166.66 a month after 24 months, five years down the road that 4000.00 dollar investment is only 66.66 bucks per month

You get what you pay for !

Don't How do you figure this, My LTD5 was $2800 i earned that back in the 1st two months and then some cleaning part time.
So after two months it's costing me nothing anymore unless something breaks that I have to fix which in the last two years i have only had to replace two $13 switches. I've had the machine 3 years now. I not long ago spent $1600 on a spinner tool and a water otter pump to run it, made that back the 1st two months and i don't even do that much T&G, mostly carpet.
