dont worry about the pump .....
look at the motor driving the pump should have an amp rating on it....probably a 1 hp electric motor?????

ok wow ....
.33 hp and 3.8 amps....
those guys at steamway knew their stuff......

you have 3 vac motors at 14 amps......

3 electric cords

the first vac should pull a full 14 amps.....

the back 2 will pull less amps...??????
but I am not sure how much.....??????

maybe 11-12 amps....????

I think you could put that .33 hp 3.8 amp on one of the back vac cords....??????

I know rotovac puts their 3 amp pumpout pump on one of their back vacuum cords.....

so it must be possible.......

I took this out of a 1005 hv mytee speedster...this pumps amazing but that machine lacks in vac power...this steamways got an apo too...I was going to rewire it to vac 2 and have the 3 cooling fans I installed on vac 1 and then put vac 3 and this pump on 1 cord...3 cords are much easier to manage than 1

bro

just talked to rotovac.....

gotta put that 3.8 electric motor on the front vac cord......
they said it will pull a little bit less....than the back vacs....
but still close to 14

they said to designate the front vac cord or any cord with the pump to
a 20 AMP outlet....!!!!!

probably need an amp meter to test?????

actually i am designated to be a distributor for rotovac as soon as they get their new cfx runnning...

so I better get the math down>>>>>

tim will know better if the trailing vac or the leading vac is pulling more amps.......
but i dont think they are gonna be much different

Quick question...I've got this 205v pumptec installed and bolted down completely. I'm curious can I safely wire this with one of the 6.6 zx vacs on 1 cord ? Or do they have to be separate to keep from tripping a breaker
Depends on the pumptec 205 that you have most likely it would be fine

let us know how it turns out.......

I have an option if you wanted to leave it in the van.......
pretty simple fix and would be a much easier setup.....
unless you already have a generator....

with the 350-400 cfm shoudnt have a problem with vacuum....
leaving it in the van

Everything is good. Cleaned my own carpets earlier and have about a 2-3 hr dry time...to where I can walk on it with socks without them being wet at all. I'm very pleased to say its finished being built other than I'm going to add 1 more fan today and possibly swap the 60 psi apo out for 100 I've got here...there are some strange vac leaks on the machine itself I guess due to age...like the handle to load it in front...they're riveted so prob gonna use some marine seal to fix them inside waste tank. Idk if it causes much difference in the performance but I can slightly hear it once I shut it down...3 cords...no breaker issues
