Made with whole vegetables and won't cause me to gag?

Trying to get mushrooms, red peppers, onions, kale, spinach and some grains in a veggie shake.

Always tastes vile.

Note sure what the best base to mix it with either besides water.

Any suggestions?

Get the natural food juice drinks at walmart or HEB.
Just make sure it doesnt have water and alot of apple juice added.....Naked brand...or other brands....
Also. Acaii. 100% juice is loaded with. Antioxidents...

Thanks for the tips, but I want to start taking control of my intake from the roots sort of speak :)

I've read a lot about Naked having more sugar than soda, and V8 juice is so processed that the vegetables inside no longer have any nutritional value.

I'd rather have a V-6.

You are correct about the naked having lots of sugar Mike. Are you looking for a shake or a juice ?

Shake, Joe. I want the skin and fiber from the vegetables. I tried 'juicing' before but all you get is a drop of juice and no fiber.

My sister just recommended Vega One. Looks interesting as a shake base.

Dave did you ever look at the medicinal benifits of white mushrooms, pomegranate, kale, etc?

Apparently they go a long way toward cell repair, and flushing out the bad stuff that's not supposed to be in there.

The flavor in V-8 comes mostly from tomato, carrot, and (believe it or not) Worcestershire sauce. Add a little Woozy and pepper to whatever veggies you want to blend, use tomato as the binding base, carrot for sweetness, and you'll likely find the flavor to be very palatable. The Woozy adds just enough sodium and flavor without being unhealthy.

Great idea Amy! Woozy sauce is pretty strong so it should balance out the 'flavors'.

Wow another good call on the sauce. Why didn't I think of that!

It's amazing how certain things really have a powerful taste. I threw in some sesame seeds (like a teaspoon) with a fruit shake and it completely overwhelmed the other flavors.

Woozy is great stuff. Fish, red meats, veggies, starches, all can benefit from a shot of this savory yummy goodness.
